Josh and Erika Yowell are a husband-and-wife team, licensed real estate agents, and the owners of Granson Property Management. With more than 40 years of combined experience in the real estate industry, they’ve helped hundreds of clients buy, sell, lease, and manage residential and commercial properties throughout Southern Maryland.
As a family-owned company, Granson Property Management was created with a simple belief: property owners deserve better service, better communication, and better care for their investments. Josh and Erika were inspired, in part, by seeing how often owners and tenants were underserved by traditional property management companies.
We believe successful property management goes beyond rent collection. Our role is to help owners protect property value, reduce risk, coordinate maintenance effectively, and create positive long-term outcomes for both owners and residents.
Today, Granson Property Management is one of Southern Maryland’s fastest-growing property management companies, but growth has never been the goal at the expense of service. Josh and Erika are committed to remaining accessible, responsive, and small enough to provide the personal attention each owner and property deserves.
Our Management Services
We handle the day-to-day operations of your property while helping protect its condition, maintaining resident satisfaction, and supporting long-term investment performance. We currently manage properties throughout Southern Maryland, including in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties.
In-Person Meeting
In-person meeting at the rental property to discuss the property and processes.
Property Videos
Video the entire property prior to each tenant moving in to document the condition of the property.
Professional Photos
Professional photos to be taken upon accepting the property into management. This is at the company's expense.
Maintenance & Property Services
We coordinate trusted vendors and property services to help owners maintain their properties, reduce deferred maintenance, and keep homes in excellent condition for residents.
Financial Reports
We'll provide you with comprehensive end-of-year reports to assist in tax filing, as well as on-demand reports.
Tenant Screening
We screen all applicants. Our software conducts a background and credit check as well as rental history.
Property Inspections
We do a move-in video, walk-throughs every 6 months, as well as the move-out inspection.
Flexible Policies
Flexible policies for owners to include, but not limited to, pet restrictions, property hold times, deposit, credit requirements, etc.
Secure Technology
We protect our owner and tenant information through our secure management software.
Eviction Services
In the unlikely event that tenants need to be evicted, we assist in initiating the process with local courts.
